Cottage. Early C16, rebuilt in early C17 and extended in late C19.
Timber framed of thin scantling to front, with brick infill. Plain
tiled roof, hipped to right with offset, white, hearthstone and brick
stack to end left, front ridge stack to right. L shaped plan, originally
hall house two bays of which remain with C19 wing to rear left. Two
storeys, three framed bays with four, diamond pattern, metal casements
across first floor, ground floor window to right of centre under tiled
pentice roof. Leaded half glazed door to left end under pentice porch
hood on brackets. Additional bay set back to right end.
Interior: Timber frame exposed, especially on ceilings.
