House, now public house. C15 core to rear with facade circa 1700:
C19 extensions to south. Timber framed with brick infill to rear, on
rendered plinth, whitewashed brick front to right with fine, wooden
modillion eaves cornice, brick extension to left, tile hung on first
floor. Plain tiled roofs, rendered end stack to right, large ridge
stack to centre, rear stack left of centre and end stack to left.
2 storeys. Plat band over ground floor, left of centre, 11 glazing
bar sash windows in flush frames across the first floor. Part glazed
door to centre under flat porch hood on brackets, double part glazed
doors to left of centre. 3 bay extension to left with coving over
ground floor. Casement windows on first floor, glazing bar sash -
windows below. Right hand return front: rough cast with gabled,
glazed porch and panelled door. Interior: C18 staircase. Bolection
moulded panelling on first floor, timber framing exposed in parts.
