GV II


House. C16 with C19 extensions. Timber framed on brick plinth. Brick
infill, tile hung above with plain tiled roof, ridge stack to right of centre,
front stack to left end. 2 storeys, 5 leaded casement windows across the
first floor. Diagonally boarded door to left of centre in gabled half
glazed porch with wooden supports. Return front tile hung, single storey
range set back to right with attic under gabled dormer in hipped roof.
C20 flat roof extension to right end.
Interior: timber framing visible, especially in ceilings. Deep brick
fireplaces with wooden lintels. Large collar beam and curved bracing
on first floor.
