7/203 Ratcatchers Cottage


Cottage. C16,much restored in C20. Timber framed with galleted ironstone rubble
below, brick infill above some in herringbone pattern. Plain tiled roof, hipped
to left with gabled front stack to left, 2 diagonal end stacks to right. 2 storeys
3 framed bays with irregular leaded casement fenestration; angle bay window
under hipped tiled roof to ground floor right. Planked door to left of centre
under gabled porch hood on carved brackets and wooden supports.
Right hand return front: tile hung.
