The description shall be amended to read:
Lodge. c.1840 extended late C20. Rendered, with slate roofs; rendered ridge
stack to left and right ends. 1 storey, central range with pedimented cross
wings to either end, the left hand half is a modern extension. Articulated
by Doric order, fluted piers to ends, fluted $ columns in centre of sides.
4 glazing bar sash windows in deep reveals with architrave surrounds in long
sides. Closed portico to right end with end pilasters and 2 central half
columns. Door to right hand return front in gables slate roof porch. Not shown
on the 1838 tithe map but appears in the 1841 census. (SRO).
