Boundary wall, formerly enclosing gardens to Cleeve House [demolished], now as rear boundary to C20 properties in Cleave Lawns. C18. Fine Flemish bond brickwork, but at northern end reduced in height and in coursed rubble, weathered stone coping. Approximately 200m long, and 2.6m high, but reducing to approximately 2m at the northern end; regular brick piers. At each end there is a blocked Gothick doorway, that to the north, in Oakdale Court, in brick jambs and pointed arch, walling swept over the arch, with short length horizontal coping. Beyond this doorway the wall sweeps away in a quadrant, and returns to a short run approximately 4m high stopped to the orangery [qv] adjacent to No.33, Oakdale Court. Attached to the wall are the roofless remains of an apple store.
