SU 95 SW NORMANDY C.P. HUNT'S HILL LANE

4/29 Hunt's Hill House

II

House. C16 to rear, C17 to front. Timber framed, exposed on rear
with red and brown brick cladding; plain tiled roof, half-hipped to
rear. T shaped plan. Two storeys and attic in gable with further
attic on rear wing under flat roof dormer. Plinth below, with plat
band over ground floor front, end stack to left and stack to rear
wing. C20 leaded, casement, fenestration across front, three windows
on first floor two below. One square bay projecting window under
pentice roof to ground floor right. Central, ribbed, door in gabled
brick and timber porch. Single storey extension to left end.
Right hand return front: similar casement fenestration including
square bay ground floor windows. Pentice extension to rear.
Interior, frame exposed and restored. One windbrace exposed in
ceiling with cambered tie beam.
