Lower Barrs Court
ST 67 SE 4/208 Farmhouse
Early C18. Two storeys, rendered. One bay lower 2 storey extension to
left with steeper pitch roof. Three window front, glazing bar sashes on
first floor, irregular on ground floor. Central door with gabled C19 lattic
and bargeboard porch. Pantile roof with brick end chimneys. One storey
extension to right. Right hand gable has lattice window in attic. Rear:
gabled extensions, one to left of centre is hipped gabled stair turret.
Interior: east ground floor room has barrel-stop to chamfer. Tudor arch
cellar door to rear.
