Cottages)

GV II

Cottage pair. Late C17/early C18. Timber framed to left with whitewashed
render cladding, brick to right. Plain tiled roofs stepping up to right.
Two storeys with end ridge stack to the left and end stack to right on
No 6. Plinth with plat band over ground floor to right. Leaded casement
fenestration, diamond pane, to left hand cottage (No 5A), three windows
on first floor, two below. Gabled porch, part glazed, to left of centre,
planked door to right. Casement fenestration to No 6 on the right. Two
windows to first floor with central window, now blocked, two below under
cambered brick relieving arches. Central plank door in cambered head
surround.
