3/43 Garden Walls and
Gazebos to east of
Loseley House

GV II

Kitchen garden walls with two gazebos attached to north and south corners
of east side. C18. Sandstone and chalk walls, galleted on north side
with brick on edge coping and dressings. Circa 8 feet high on rectangular
plan. Wall to west contains several blocked gateways and one open gabled
gateway dated 1868 with brick corbels, zig-zag patterning and arched
entrance surround to studded gate. Square gazebos to corners. North
gazebo now a cottage, that to south now part of estate office. Square
with ogee-shaped, hipped, plain tiled roofs. Brick extension to south
of south gazebo, weatherboard and brick extension, single storey, to
west of north gazebo. Two chimneys on east walls, casement fenestration.
Doors in modern extensions.
