3/63 Sturgis Tomb,
2 yards to left of cloister

GV II

Tomb. Dedicated to Julian Sturgis. Died 1904. Terracotta, in Art
Nouveau style. Rectangular. Low wall approximately six inches high
with moulded top enclosing rectangular plot. Raised headstone on rounded
plinth with semi circular head containing mourning angels under scroll
decoration which encloses inscribed bronze roundel.
