GV II

House. C16 and C17 with C20 restoration. Timber framed core, exposed
to centre rear, with red brick infill and clad in sandstone rubble to
ends. Plain tiled roofs, half-hipped to ends. Old entrance front:
facing Hurtmore Road. Two storeys on plinths with front ridge stack to
left and oversailing gables to ends. Two windows to right on each
floor, those to ground floor under cambered heads. Door to left in open
gabled porch on wooden supports.

Rear elevation - now main entrance: Gabled bays to ends with projecting
lower wing to front right. Brick dressings to wings, frame exposed in
gable to right. Large stack to right, corbelled, central and ridge
stacks to right hand gable. Diamond pane leaded casement fenestration
with one attic window and two windows on each floor below to left hand wing.
One attic and one large three light first floor window to right hand gable.
Casement window to ground floor, centre right. One window in gable end
to right with pigeon loft in gable apex. Tudor style door to left of
centre under pentice board.

Interior: Considerable amounts of framing exposed.
