House, now school. Circa 1900 by C A Voysey. Colourwashed roughcast
with hipped, machine tiled roofs and deep eaves. Built around a central
courtyard with an L-shaped front range and entrance in rear entrance
angle. One storey with double row of attics to right, two storeys in
gable to left. Rendered square ridge stacks to centre of right hand
side, rear stacks to left and ridge stacks to left. Wood framed,
leaded casement fenestration with tiled cills. Battered buttresses
to ends. Four upper dormers, one to right end hipped, and four through-
eaves dormers below. Three large mullioned and transomed windows to
ground floor. Square tower to re-entrant angle with one window to first
floor. Two gables to end of left hand range and one window on each floor.
Part glazed door placed diagonally across the re-entrant angles with
flanking square bay windows. Flat hood over on two columns with glazed
vault.

Courtyard ranges: Continuous leaded glazing on ground floor of one side,
through-eaves dormers above. Taller, two storey ranges to sides with
windows alternating with buttresses, massive gable to rear.

Left hand return front (garden front): Massive gable with flanking gabled
bays on either side. Two windows on ground and first floor of central
gable and attic, lower two storeyed gables to sides. Buttressed and dormered
range set back to right with two angle bays flanking recessed entrance.
Massive ridge stacks. C20 brick extensions to rear and left.

Interior: Some fittings remain, mainly panelling and fireplaces.
