SU 94 NE COMPTON C.P. THE STREET

House. C16, extended to right in early C20. Timber framed core clad
in Bargate stone and galleted with ironstone. Brick dressings and red,
brown and blue brick cladding to centre. Imitation timber framing to
right with rendered infill under plain tiled roofs. Two storeys with
tall multiple stack to front ridge, right of centre, under corbelled
top. Irregular fenestration of two three-light casements to left
on both floors, those to ground floor under label mouldings. One
five-light leaded casement on each floor of gabled wing to right.
Ribbed door with pointed arched panels to right of centre, under gauged
brick head.

Left hand return front: One window on each floor. Half-glazed door
under label moulding. Projecting brick roundel decoration to gable
and catslide to right end.
