2/115 Dovecot/Cider House to
Aldro School

GV II

Dovecot, converted into cider house in C19, now store. C18, restored in
C20. Red brick with plain tiled roof under gilt finial. Octagonal plan
with moulded brick eaves cornice and open arcaded plinth on central stem
with impost block to arches. Arched Y tracery "Gothick" windows, one in
each face under raised brick hoods. Cambered head casement to east front
over cambered head door approached up a flight of seven steps.
