Aldro School

GV II

Former brew house, now classroom. Mid C18. Galleted sandstone with
brick dressings, angle quoins, plain tiled roof with C20 bargeboards. Two
storeys with stack to left hand side. Blocked D-shaped panel in gable
with patterned brick band over gable base. Plat band over ground floor
and buttresses to left corner. Casement window to left under brick arch.
Half glazed door to right. Left hand return front with one ground floor
window. Hipped roof screen wall with arched entrance attached to left
side of house.
