2/119 Russell Hall


Former Dame School, now cottage. Late C18. Large rat-trap bond red brick
with weatherboard claddings to left, plain tiled roof hipped over main
cottage and lower to left. Single storey and attic under three gabled
and boarded casement dormers to rear. Entrance front to rear, with brick
dentilled eaves and end piers. Two C20 ground floor metal casement
windows. Door to right end and C20 extensions to left. The rear wall
facing the street forms an attractive village feature.
