TQ 04 NW SHALFORD CP HORSHAM ROAD

GV II

Cottage pair. Early C19. Red brick with hipped plain tiled roof. Two
storeys with regular front. End stack to left and right, square ridge
stack to centre. Five glazing bar sash windows across first floor and
one painted blocked window, all under gauged brick heads. Four glazing
bar sash windows to ground floor. Door to ground floor left under pentice
porch hood (No. 7) further door to ground floor right of centre (No. 8)
in curved, gabled porch on wooden supports and walls. Single storey
brick extension to left. Prominent site on edge of green and included
for group value.
