House. Early C17, refronted in late C18 and extended to rear. Timber
framed to rear, exposed with brick and rendered infill with red and blue
brick return fronts and roughcast cladding to street front. Hipped and
half hipped slate roofs, lower over extensions. Main house rectangular
with wing to right parallel to street and extensions to rear. Two storeys,
stacks to left.
Street front: regular with tripartite glazing bar sash fenestration,
central first floor bay projecting on two octagonal wooden columns with
one 12-pane sash window in each face of angle bay. One tripartite glazing
bar sash window to left on ground floor and half blocked and single light
casement window to right. Two gabled casement dormers to roof. Central
half-glazed panelled door.
Left hand return front (entrance front): tall first floor with deep eaves.
Attic to right under gabled casement dormer with diamond pane glazing.
Two large first floor 12-pane glazing bar sash windows in architrave
frames. One 3-light "cross" window to ground floor left and larger window
to right. Central half glazed door with intersecting ogee-head tracery
in top, panelled below. Single storey, hip roofed single window projecting
to front left. Irregular leaded casement glazing to rear.
Interior: some panelling survives with simple late C18 staircase.
