Farm House

GV II

House with cattle byre attached. Early C16, extended in C19. Timber
framed clad in red brick, colourwashed on single storey extension, rendered
cladding below with tile hanging above on gabled end. Plain tiled roof,
half hipped to rear and hipped to front right. Two storeys, two framed
bays.

Entrance front: two C19 casements on each floor, those to ground floor
under cambered heads. Single storey wing to left with further casement
and planked door. Wing at right angles to rear. Main range with inserted
multiple stack to centre of ridge and one casement on each floor on right
hand side. One first floor casement to first floor left.

Interior: framing visible mainly on ceiling with central spine beam on
rough carved corbel inscribed "1702 R.E.". Double deep brick fireplace
with arched wooden lintels.
