Country house, now divided. 1873 by G.E Street and Son for himself, extended by Barton Webb. Snecked sandstone ashlar to ground floor of most of house and to central tower, decorative timber framing above with red brick infilling, some in herringbone pattern, some rendered infill incised and decorated to entrance porch. Plain tiled roofs under ridge cresting with fishscale tile hung gables. L-shaped with square tower in angle of L. Two storeys with tall ribbed and corbelled stacks on ends and ridge of roofs, stacks to garden front octagonal. Leaded casement fenestration, some wood framed and some stone framed, all with decorative leading in hexagonal and geometric patterns.

Entrance front: principal features include double gabled bays to right hand side with leaded casement windows on each floor. Battlemented tower to re-entrant angle of range with corbelled eaves and irregular stone dressed fenestration. Triple gabled range projecting to left with regular casement fenestration and door to ground floor right. Main entrance to centre in gabled bargeboarded porch with incised rendered floral decoration.

Garden front: two square gabled bays to right with moulded bargeboards and coved bases. Stone dressed mullioned and transomed windows to ground floor breaking through plinth string courses. One first floor casement window to each gabled bay in braced decorative framing. Similar fenestration to centre and left.

Right hand return front: large round bay to left under timber gable. Five stone dressed ground floor lights under trefoil heads. Coved eaves to recessed bay with porch recess on ground floor centre. Three ground floor windows to right and angle bay to right end rising through two storeys with trefoil head lights. Large gabled bay to end.

Interior: panelling and some fittings survive.
