House. Mid-C17 on site of older house, restored in early C20 when extended
to rear. Red and brown brick on rendered plinth with plain tiled roofs.
Tall proportions with two storeys and attic under two hipped roof leaded
casement dormers. Plat band over ground floor with three stacks to rear
left of centre, outer ones diagonal, and three stacks to rear right
square with rebated corners. Altered fenestration with evidence of blocked
windows. Wood framed leaded casements, one lower to first floor left,
under cambered heads. Two four-light mullioned and transoned windows to
right. Similar pattern to ground floor windows. Projecting gabled two
storey entrance bay to left of centre with tile hung gable and casement
window to first floor. Ribbed and studded door, arched, in recessed panel
with rusticated voussoirs to arch and central keystone. Raised brick
panel over supporting lantern.

Interior: large central hall with chalk block fireplace bearing the
initials "J.B.". C20 panelling. C17 stair with turned balusters extending
up to second floor. Traces of oven found in rear range.
