Cottage. Early C17 two bay end chimneystack house with late C17 or early C18 L-wing refenestrated in C20. Original part timber framed with exposed box framing and curved trace and painted brick infill. Later L wing is of painted brick. Tiled roof with end brick chimneystacks. Two casements with leaded lights to original part and one to wing. Porch in angle of the L and lean-to extension to left hand side. Rear elevation has similar windows but cambered head lining to one window on the ground floor. Original part of house has open fireplace with wooden bressumer with lambs tongue stop and salt niche and spine beam with one and a half inch chamfer and lambs tongue stop. Wing has open fireplace with bressumer with run out stop. The brickwork is worn down, probably by the sharpening of knives. Plank door and queen post roof.
