House. Early C17 refronted and extended in mid C19. Timberframed building refronted in red brick on ground floor and rendered above. Tiled roof with fretted wooden bargeboards and brick chimneystacks. Gable end to street has circular window to attic, first floor sash with vertical glazing bars only, and tripartite sash to ground floor, entrance front has two sashes with vertical glazing bars only. C20 bow to ground floor and early pedimented canopy on ornate posts to to entrance door. External red brick chimneystack and one-storey extension to rear. Street front has additional bay in painted brick with cambered sash which adjoins Pilgrim's Earth.

Interior has early C17 timberframe with shallow arched tie beam and queen strut side purlin roof. Framing to original cross wing overbuilt, but arched wind bracing survives. Cross wing truncated and extended in early C19. Many internal C19 features survive, including panelling, doors, architraves, fire surrounds and the staircase.
