5/40 Old Greendene Cottage

House. C17, remodelled in 1874 by the Lovelace Estate.Timber framed core clad in flint
with red and blue brick dressings; plain tiled roof, hipped to left and half hipped to
right. Rectangular. 2 storeys with rebuilt stack to rear centre. Irregular
fenestration of metal casement windows; 4 windows on each floor, those on ground floor
at different heights. Single light casements with ogee-arched head tracery bars.
Planked door to centre. Pentice extension to front right with quatrefoil band round
centre. Stable style door to end.
