House. C16 to centre with C17 cross wings and extended and remodelled in C19 and C20.
Timber framed core clad in red and brown brick to front, tile hung above on gable
ends; plain tiled roofs. Two storeys with attic in gable bay and wing to right, one
storey and attic to centre/left. Massive H section stack to ridge right of centre,
further stacks to left and rear.
Gabled wing to right:- plinth below, plat band over ground floor and attic casement
under pentice drip hood. One 16-pane first floor sash window to left, single pane
sash window to ground floor left and blocked window to ground floor right under
gauged brick heads.
Central range:- gable to left with one 3-light casement window on each floor, leaded
on ground floor. One through-eaves, leaded, 3-light pentice-roof dormer to right over
a three-light ground floor window.
Left hand gable end:- One 2-light casement window to each floor. Part-glazed,
panelled door to right,in angle with cross wing under pentice roofed porch. Single
storey extensions to left end.
Rear:- irregular, with large gable to left and penticed extensions to right.
Right hand return front:- facing street - 3 pentice roofed dormers in roofs. Two
first floor sashes to left and two windows to ground floor under gauged heads.
Central gabled porch in Lovelace style with half-glazed door in chamfered surround.
