5/156 Sussex Farm House

II

House. Late C16/Early C17 extended to right in timber framed style in 1930's,
further extended to rear in 1960's. Timber framed exposed with whitewashed render
infill, whitewashed brick, tile hung above, on rear extension. Plain tiled roofs,
half-hipped to end cross wings. Two storeys with large, corbelled, ribbed square
stack to left of centre. Corbelled front ridge stack to right of centre. Three
first floor casements to centre and one window to each floor of cross wings. One
ground floor window to left of centre. Ribbed and studded door to right of centre
in angle with cross wing, under open pentice roof porch on plinth walls.
