Tomb. 1783. Dedicated to Lt. General William Evelyn. Grey stone. Rectangular, on
plinth with panelled sides. Inscription panel to south side of tomb flanked by
recessed pilaster strips. Bud and flower motif in "capital" of the pilasters,
continuing onto the east and west faces of the tomb. Stepped top with fluting to
base and gadrooned top. Cartouche on west end flanking hour glass. Armorial crest
in cartouche on east end.
