GV II

House. C16 with C17 and C19 extensions to right end. Timber framed, exposed to
right with brown brick infill, clad in red and blue brick to left and on extensions;
plain tiled roofs stepping down to right. L-shaped plan with hipped roof wing to
right end. 2 storeys with massive corbelled stack to left of centre on main range,
further stack to right of centre on wing. Leaded casement fenestration with two
windows on first floor, both 3-light, and two casements to ground floor under
cambered heads. 2 storey, gabled brick entrance porch to lobby entrance, with first
floor casement window over planked door under gauged brick head. Thinner frame
exposed on wing with irregular fenestration of 2 first floor and ground floor windows,
including one large C20 "cross" window to right. Door to left of centre.
