House, now offices. Late C17 core, refronted in C18 and with C20 extensions to
left and rear. Sandstone rubble on left hand return front, brown brick to front.
Steeply pitched, hipped plain tiled roof partly obscured by stone-coped parapet.
Two storeys and attics with multiple stacks to ends. Four windowed front; 6-
light sashes to attic storey under gauged-brick heads, four 12-pane sash windows
to first and ground floor (replacements). Double doors of 6-fielded panels to
right of centre in panelled reveal and architrave surround. Traceried fanlight
over and Tuscan porch in front with panelled soffits to lintels, flat lead roof
and two columns on pedestals in front of rear pilasters. Fluted bands in freize
alternate with roundels, the outer ones in oval surrounds. Two storey and attic
extension in similar style set back to left; further extensions to rear not of
special interest.
