House. C17 core with late C19 extensions. Timber framed, clad in red and blue
brick to ground floor right with tile hung first floor above, some in fishscale
pattern. Brown brick and tile hung extensions with some timber frame and pebble-
dash to left. Plain tiled roofs. Rambling complicated plan. Entrance front:- Two
storeys with C20 stack to right on front. Three gables across, that to left tile
hung over ground floor recess with two leaded casement windows on the first floor,
one window below flanking ribbed door. Centre gable tile hung over projecting
brick break with one window on each floor and decoratively leaded staircase window
to right. Right hand gable timber framed with jettied apex. Projecting square
oriel window on the first floor on four brackets. Jettied first floor on end
brackets. Central half-glazed and studded door in leaded margin windows. Right
hand return front:- Jettied timber framed gable to left with one 3-light oriel
window on the first floor; 3-light window below. Ogee-arched leaded casement to
right under tile hung gable over projecting flat-roofed square bay window on the
ground floor with decorative leading to upper lights. Rear:- Offset stack to left,
further stacks to right of centre. Large gable with smaller gable flanking to left
each with one 3-light window to first floor. Polygonal-ended ground floor bay to
right with flat-roofed, open, arcaded porch to left.
