GV II

Houses, now shops. Early C19 with C20 alterations. Yellow stock brick with deep
eaves to hipped slate roof. Three storeys and attics with cross ridge stacks to
left of centre. Four bays wide with central pediment, lunette window in tympanum
under gauged-brick head. Four sunk panels under eaves and long sunk panels rising
through first and second floors to left and right of centre. Four sash windows
across the second floor, two to right 12-pane glazing-bar sashes. Similar
arrangement below on the first floor, all windows with gauged-brick heads, those
on the first floor arched. Plate glass shop fronts across the ground floor.
