House, now offices. Circa 1700 with C20 extensions to rear. Red-brown brick
with wooden modillion eaves cornice and plain-tiled roof. Two storeys and attics
under C19 gabled casement dormer to right with stack to right end. Basement
plinth below ground floor, plat band above. Six 9-pane glazing-bar sash windows
on the first floor, five 12-pane sash windows below on the ground floor with 4-
centred arched heads to upper lights and gauged-brick keystones linking up to
plat band. Door of six studded panels to right of centre in panelled, projecting,
wood surround breaking up through the plat band and under a cornice hood, with
panelled reveals and 9-pane over-light. Two basement windows below to left and
right. Gable end wing set back to right with fishscale pattern tile-hanging in
gable. Attic casement window and one glazing-bar sash window with arched upper
lights on the ground floor, breaking up through the plat band that steps up to
left. Right hand return front:- three hipped-roof dormers, 4 cambered-head
glazing-bar sash windows below linked by sill plat band. C20 extensions to rear
right not of special interest.
