Public house. Early C19. Colourwashed roughcast on smooth render plinth with
hipped slate roof over deep bracketed eaves. Two storeys with rendered stacks
to right and rear. Main block:- Four ogee-headed, 9-pane glazing-bar sash windows
across the first floor, the upper parts of which have intersecting round-headed
glazing-bars; four windows below. Double, three-quarter glazed doors to right in
lead tent-roofed porch with paired scrolled-iron standards and Gothick pattern
arcaded railings and gates to sides and front. Lower range set back to left with
flat-roofed projecting extension to the ground floor. Two 12-pane ogee-headed
sash windows on the first floor, two windows below.
