Former paper mill, now offices. Foundation stone dated 1864, designed by H. Peak
of Guildford and built by R. Nye, altered in C20. Red-brown brick with coloured
brick dressings and bands, hipped slate roof. Single-storey rectangular building
with small stack in additional bay to rear and parallel range to left linked across.
3 bays by 5 with gable-end-on to street. Segmentally headed pier buttress arcades
to side with blue brick bands decorating. One window in each of outer bays on
entrance front flank C20 double doors to centre. Five casement windows in right
hand return front, one to each bay of arcade, small link in left hand side to
parallel range with boarded gable and casement fenestration.
