The Gables
TQ 2853 SE 3/234


House of mid C19 appearance. 2 storeys, 2 windows. High pitched roof banded
with plain and fishscale tiles, gabled over projecting right bay. A smaller gable
breaks eaves above 1st floor left window. Sash windows, those on 1st floor with
glazing bars, under hoodmoulds. Half glazed Tudor arched door under gabled hood
on brackets. Graded partly for group value.

Merstham Garage, The White Cottage, York Cottages, The Gables, and Home Cottage
form a group of which The White Cottage and York Cottages are local interest only.
