Shop. Probably early C17, extended C18, altered C19 and C20. Timber frame, brick
cladding rendered. Roof not visible. 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays to High Street,
this part 2and a half bays deep with 2-bay C17 cross-wing to rear. High Street elevation:
rendered; late C20 shop front; 3 C20 12-pane sashes above; cornice; parapet.
Interior: front part has one queen-post roof truss and a tie-beam broken through
but the main interest lies in the rear part which has square-panelled timber-frame
with tension braces, two 2-light mullion windows with moulded frames and stanchions
to east wall, lambs-tongue stops to chamfered cross-beam, queen-post roof. truss
with clasped purlins and straight wind braces.
