Estate cottages. Dated 1871. Brick with hipped tiled roofs; stone-built projecting
bay to south, No. 5 rendered. Small scale and roughly symmetrical composition in
domestic revival style. Salient features are the projecting central gable and
flanking pyramidal roofs with central chimneys. 2 storeys. 2 windows each, leaded
casements. Central gable is timber framed, on ground floor is lean-to with outer
porches (Nos. 6 and 7) and post and braced-plate loggia in between. No. 8 has
stone-built set back wing to right with date panel and bracketed lean-to to south.
