TQ 24NE SALFORDS & SIDLOW C.P. NEW HOUSE LANE

2/51 Starlings

II

House. C17 extended to front in 1910 and restored in C20. Timber framed to
rear on brick and render plinth with brick infill below, tile hung above on
first floor left. Whitewashed brick, tile hung above to front. Slate roofs
hipped to front with plain tiled roofs to rear and left with hip to left end;
large stack of cross section with corbelled top to left of centre on rear. 2
storeys to front, regular fenestration of 3 leaded casements across first floor.
Planked door to left end in half glazed gabled porch. Pentice roof Conservatory
to left, set back in angle of two ranges. Old entrance front now to rear:-
2 storeys and attic to right of centre in gabled leaded casement dormer, 4 leaded
casement windows across first floor. Part glazed plank door to right in recess.
Pent roof extension to right.

Interior: Stop chamfered ceiling frames, square panel wall framing to rear of
house and deep brick fireplace.
