Large house. C18 or earlier. White stucco walls and slate roof with red tile
hips. Four stacks. Three storeys. Front elevation ground floor has a single
storey projecting block with a small cornice and 8-pane sash windows. First
floor six 12-pane sash windows. Second floor has four-pane and two-light case-
ments. On north end a projecting semicircular bay on first floor with 16-pane
casements and wrought iron railings. On second floor 6-pane casements. Rear
elevation has two full height projecting wings with hipped roofs. Windows as on
front elevation. Interior: Good staircase with cut strings, carved brackets
and three turned balusters to each tread. Curtail step and fluted newel post.
Good original fireplaces.
