2/77G Milton Park, South Lodge
- including wall and gate

Lodge at the south entrance to Milton Park. Dated 1865 on wall tablet with
initial W below coronet. Red brick with low pitched blue slate pyramidal roof,
single stack. Two storeys. South elevation ground floor splay sided bay window
and 4-pane sash window with curved head and cornice over. First floor, two
small coupled semicircular headed sash windows. Projecting wing at rear. Door
in north elevation with slate roofed hood on brackets. Between this and road is
an extension in replica of a block of slightly increased dimensions with similar
tablet dated 1888. No gates surviving but four brick gate piers with dentils
under stone copings linked by a serpentine wall. C18 red brick boundary wall
extending along site boundary fronting onto road.
