Formerly known as lodge to Riverdale. The north half of the building is a
timber-framed cottage with red brick Infilling. Tiled roof. Casement windows.
The southern half is early C19. Stuccoed. Slate roof, Sash windows with
glazing bars intact. The ground floor windows in arcading. Porch with columns
and pilasters and with entablature over. 2 storeys. 3 windows to the north
portion, 3 windows to the south portion. Once used as an Inn. Photograph
in NMR.
