House, now divided. Early C20 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Whitewashed brick with tile
dressings, tile hung above to right with plain tiled roof swept out to eaves;
gablets to ends and catslide to left. Two storeys,with front stacks left and
right with gablets on the shafts and corbelled tops. H-section, corbelled ridge
stack to left of centre and cross ridge stack to right. Three leaded hip-roofed
dormers to left of centre. One leaded casement window to first floor right, two
3-light windows below. Studded and ribbed double doors under round arch with
diamond-shaped glazed panels to left, in pentice set back under roundel. (No. 1).
Glazed door to left of centre under round arch with flanking lights. (No. 2).
Ground floor window to right of door. Corner window to ground floor right in
range set back to right end. Half-hipped single storey extension on return front
