War Memorial. Circa 1920 by Sir Edwin Lutyens, rebuilt in c.1943. Portland stone.
Free standing crucifix on round disk plinth with three stepped rectangular blocks
above. Cross arms and shaft are chamfered and the main shaft tapers down to a
broach-stop base with a sword carved on the south side. The roll of honour is
inscribed on all sides of plinth. The cross stands on the axis of the south porch
of the church and forms part of a group around the church green.
