II

House. Late C16/C17, extended and refaced in C19 and C20. Timber framed, clad
in red and blue brick to front, galleted sandstone blocks in brick dressings to
left, brick gable to right. Horsham slab roof encased in tiles with tile hung
gable to right. Two storeys with corbelled C19 stacks to left of centre. Four
leaded casements to first floor across centre, three. 3-light cambered head
windows below on ground floor. C20 brick and stone hip roofed porch to left of
centre. Gables to ends of cross wings, plat band over ground floor of-left hand
gable. One 3-light leaded casement window to each floor. Tile pentice over
ground floor of right hand gable. Thin frame exposed on right hand return front.
