House, now Public House. C17 with C18 and C20 extensions to left and rear. Timber
framed underbuilt in brick, whitewashed on front with fishscale tile hanging above,
galleted sandstone rubble to ground floor to left hand return front. Horsham slab
roofs to front, half-hipped plain tiled roof to left. Original house with gable
end cross wings, lower to left, now with extensions at right angles to rear. Two
storeys, C19 coloured brick stacks to left of centre and to right end under wide,
corbelled and diagonally brick-dentilled decorated tops; plainer offset stack to
left hand return front. One 3-light leaded casement window on each floor of gabled
end bays, two windows across centre of first floor. One larger leaded window to
ground floor right of centre. Horsham slab roofed gabled porches to left and right
of centre with Gothic arched windows in return walls and weatherboarded gables over
ribbed and studded part-glazed doors. Left hand return front:- 1 window on first
floor, two windows on ground floor. Old oak door to left.
