House, extended and divided. Late C16 - early C17. Timber framed, exposed to
right with whitewashed brick infill and whitewashed render cladding to left.
Plain tiled roof hipped to right. Two storeys with small stack to right and
stack to left of centre at forward break of April Cottage. Two framed bays
exposed to right with two windows on the first floor, two ground floor windows
and one cambered head window to ground floor left. Door to right of centre in
gabled porch. (Ravensleigh). Further door in left hand return front. Single
storey C20, hip-roofed brick wing at right angles projecting to front left of
centre, now a garage. Interior:- substantial framing exposed, deep fireplace and
old doorway.
