GV II

House. Late C17. Possibly round earlier core. Timber framed with red brick
cladding to ground floor, tile hung above in alternate bands of club and diamond-
point pattern. Thin frame exposed to first floor rear. Plain tiled roof, hipped
to right. Two storeys with stack to right of centre. One 3-light leaded case-
ment window to first floor, one 4-light window below. Catslide extension to
ground floor left. Half-glazed door to lobby entry right of centre. Left hand
return front:- frame exposed on gable with arched bracing to first floor, jowled
end posts. Stair vice to rear.
Interior:- substantial frame visible. Deep fireplace with wooden lintel and salt-
cupboard.
