Possible Hall house. C16 and C17 with C19 and C20 extensions. Timber framed,
exposed on left hand return front of cross wing (facing street) on the first
floor, with rendered infilling; brick cladding on ground floor of remainder
with tile hanging above, in diamond-point pattern,on the left hand gable.
Plain tiled roofs, hipped over centre range. H-shaped plan with cross wings
to ends. Two storeys with front, cross-ridge stack to right of centre and end
stacks to right and left. Leaded casement fenestration with one 3-light window
to first floor of each gable, two, 2-light first floor windows to centre and one
ground floor window on each gable end. Two windows on ground floor centre with
glazed door in re-entrant angle. Catslide pentice extension to right hand wing
and further extensions to rear. Left hand return front (facing street): two
framed bays with fine corbelled C17 stack to left end. Right hand gable wing
1930.
