House, now divided. Circa 1835. Incised whitewashed stucco with shallow pitched
slate roofs, hipped to ends and half-hipped to centre. Two storeys and attics to
front on plinth with lower wing at right angles to rear. Rusticated quoins to
corners on slightly projecting end wings, plat band over ground floor and cornice
to base of parapet, which partly obscures the roofs, with panelled newels on ends.
Rendered stacks on ridges of cross wings and at junction of wings and centre block.
Three attic windows in vertical pitch of half-hip to centre. Three 12-pane
glazing bar sash windows in lugged architrave surrounds to centre of first floor
under cornice hoods and with sills on fluted brackets. One similar window on
first floor of each wing. One plate glass sash window in lugged architrave
surround and with projecting sill to ground floor of right hand wing, further
windows to left and right of centre on centre range. Double half-glazed doors to
centre of ground floor, single half-glazed door under transome light in rendered
flat-roofed porch to left of centre. Large C20 casement window incorporating
glazed door to end across ground floor of left wing. Right hand return front:-
Two 20-pane, glazing bar sash windows to first floor, plate glass ground floor
window to left, casement window to right. Double doors to right of centre under
flat porch hood on C20 pillars. Irregular sash fenestration on rear wing.
